Pilgrim Ministries 2019/2020 "New Jerusalem" Campus Capital Campaign​

 

• Pilgrim Ministries turned away 103 men in 2018 for the lack of bed space. So far thru March 2019 we have turned 35 men away with 23 on the waiting list. Pilgrim Ministries raised $90,000 in 2017 & 2018 toward our new campus. In 2019 we have a goal of raising $250,000 of additional capital to acquire land in 2019 and begin construction of the new campus in 2020. Thru March 2019 we have raised $60,000 toward the $250,000 goal. Praise God!!! The new Campus will consist of a 32 resident dormitory, two 16 resident after-care town houses, commercial kitchen & dinning hall with classrooms, staff house, office, laundry room and several maintenance buildings. The ministry will increase our residential capacity from 16 men to 64 men. Please pray about helping us reach or goal for 2019. These men need Jesus and an opportunity for him to set them free and change their lives forever.

Prayer

The greatest way anyone can help Pilgrim Ministries is through prayer.  God's Word teaches us in the Book of James that "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much".

 

Sponsoring a Resident

Some residents of Pilgrim Ministries need a sponsor for the first six months of residency in the ministry. The cost for the first six months of residency is $2,600 ($100/week). This money is used to help cover the cost of housing, utilities, meals, personal hygiene, seminars, educational materials, transportation, staffing, and maintenance of our facilities.  It is not the goal of the Ministry to make a profit, however, it would be irresponsible for our residents to not contribute if they are in a financial position to do so. Maybe you might be willing to contribute a six month scholarship for one of these men or help with a month or two of the cost.

 

Monthly Pledge

We would also like to extend the invitation to become a partner with us at Pilgrim Ministries.  The grip that drugs and alcohol have on this country is mind boggling.  If you support what we are trying to do, please consider making a monthly pledge to support our ministry. For the first time ever the #1 cause of death of 16 to 25 year old's is not automobile accidents but overdoses.

 

One Time Contribution

Needs arise everyday within the Ministry.  If you are not comfortable making a monthly pledge, but you feel lead to contribute, please consider making a one time contribution to Pilgrim Ministries.  No amount is too small.

On average, Pilgrim Ministries currently receives about $15,000 per month from individuals and churches in support of the Ministry. Our goal is to reach $25,000 per month.  This would allow the Director and his wife to resign from their current jobs and become full time paid staff in the ministry.  Pilgrim Ministries receives no government funding. We are funded soley by donations from individuals and churches. Pilgrim Ministries is classified as a 501c3, non-profit organization.  All donations are tax exempt.  All of our donors will receive a contribution letter at the end of the year for tax and accounting purposes.  If you would be interested in making a donation, please indicate if we can mention your contribution on our website as a way of saying "thank you".
